Gray Acetal range of inch-size push-in fittings are offered for sizes 5/32" to 5/8" O.D. The fittings are manufactured in gray acetal with a food-grade nitrile “O” ring, making them especially suitable for applications involving foodstuff and potable liquids. They are equally suitable for air and inert gases and can therefore be used on CO2 lines, pneumatic and vacuum applications. Max. working pressure - 230 psi @ 73°F for 5/32 to 5/16" fittings, and 150 psi @ 73°F for 3/8" and 1/2". In contrast to the lengthy procedure of traditional copper connections and multiple parts in compression fittings, the installation of John Guest Super Speedfit® products are a simple push-to-connect. There is no need to re-make leaky solder joints or adjust awkward compression fittings; an especially important feature when working in confined spaces. Typical installation times can be cut by as much as 40%.
