Filterchem Air-Operated Valves are ideal for automated control of liquids, featuring fail-safe operation with normally-closed as the standard configuration. This valve requires a minimum of 30 psi air pressure for actuation. Similar in design to that of the Filterchem foot-operated valve, this valve is an economical and compact alternative to more expensive air-operated diaphragm or ball valves. Filterchem Air-Operated valves are of molded construction from either Type 1 PVC or natural polypropylene, and contain the following internal components: Viton® O-ring seal, high-density polyethylene piston and a Kynar®-coated return spring.
Features
• 125 psi @ 75°F for all models • PVC valves for applications up to 140°F • Polypropylene valves are for applications ranging to 180°F • Mounting holes in base plate - mount valve horizontal or vertical
Filterchem Pressure Regulators sense downstream pressure in fluid lines and open or close to maintain a selected downstream pressure. These valves are used to protect equipment and filters from excessive line pressures. These valves are adjustable from a range of 5 to 70 psi (5 to 75 psi for 1/2" size). Filterchem Pressure Relief Valves protect equipment from excess pressures by opening up at a selected pressure and relieving liquid line pressure back to a holding tank or drain. These valves are adjustable from 10 to 80 psi. Filterchem Pressure Regulators and Relief Valves are of molded construction of Type 1 PVC, with Viton® o-rings and PVDF-coated springs. Regulators are also available in polypropylene, and the pressure relief valve is also available in PVDF Kynar®.
