Strainers & Filtration
These filter chambers incorporate heavy-reinforced ribbing within the molded parts. The double labyrinth o-ring sealing and the long-sleeved flanges, top and bottom, allow these chambers to operate at higher pressures and/or temperatures while also eliminating the use of external frame rods. The simplicity in design and accessibility allows one to completely disassemble and reassemble these chambers in order to replace any broken or damaged part. These chambers can also be converted in the field to a carbon treatment unit or to accept single open end, double #222 o-ring seal sub-micron cartridges with only a small modification. This simple conversion process eliminates the expense of purchasing a completely new chamber.
• Removes solid dirt particles • Quick change of filter elements • Choice of construction materials • Accepts filter cartridges, submicron pleated cartridges or filter sleeves

Standard 3/4” NPT housings are manufactured of reinforced polypropylene, FDA-grade plastic, and lightweight also makes them preferred in residential and commercial uses. Their polypropylene construction has excellent chemical resistance for use with most acids, alcohol, ammonia, oils, plating solutions, beverages and water. Housings without pressure relief buttons are recommended for industrial/chemical applications. #10 Clear Standard Filter Housings Housing bodies are made of clear Styrene-Acrilonitrile (SAN) which has been stress relieved for added clarity and strength. Clear bodies allow for visual inspection of cartridge performance and life. The SAN/polypropylene construction combination has excellent chemical compatibility.
Specifications: Two body lengths are available for sizing flow rates of 1 to 20 GPM #10 housings take a 9-3/4” to 9-7/8” cartridge with flows of 1 to 10 GPM #20 housings take a 20” to 20-1/8” cartridge with flows of 1 to 20 GPM
Maximum Pressure: 125 PSI Maximum Temperature: 125°F
